Job Description
Prudential Financial is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Excel Sales Tracker with a strong focus on marketing performance. In this remote role, you will be instrumental in monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on sales data, with a keen eye on how marketing initiatives drive these results. Your expertise in Excel will be crucial for creating and maintaining robust tracking systems, dashboards, and reports that provide actionable insights to our sales and marketing teams. This position requires someone who is proactive, meticulous, and possesses a strong ability to translate complex data into clear, understandable information.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance Excel-based models and dashboards for tracking sales performance and marketing ROI.
- Collect, clean, and analyze sales data from various sources to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports on sales figures, marketing campaign effectiveness, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to understand data requirements and deliver relevant insights.
- Identify discrepancies in data and work to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Provide support for sales forecasting and budget planning activities.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Required Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex formulas, macros).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.
- Solid understanding of sales and marketing metrics.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing automation platforms.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Basic knowledge of SQL or other database query languages.
