Job Description
Join the FedEx Ground team in Albuquerque as a Hub Associate! This entry-level position is perfect for motivated individuals looking for immediate employment with no prior experience required. Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload packages from company vehicles and trailers, by hand or using material handling equipment.
- Sort packages based on destination codes and prepare them for delivery.
- Scan packages and maintain accurate records of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Operate various equipment safely, including pallet jacks and hand trucks, after receiving appropriate training.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the work area.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally (with assistance).
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Basic communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus, but not required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
