Job Description

Blizzard Entertainment is looking for enthusiastic Game Testers to join our casual weekly roster in Garden Grove. This is an immediate start opportunity for individuals eager to contribute to the quality and polish of our upcoming and existing titles. You will be a vital part of our development process, helping us deliver unforgettable experiences to millions of players.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute test cases and follow test plans to identify software defects and inconsistencies.
- Thoroughly document bugs using our internal bug tracking system, including clear steps to reproduce, severity, and impact.
- Provide detailed and objective feedback on gameplay, balance, usability, and overall player experience.
- Collaborate closely with development teams, designers, and other QA testers to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and team meetings to discuss progress, issues, and priorities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of game features, design changes, and testing tools.
- Perform regression testing to verify bug fixes and ensure stability across game builds.
Required Skills
- Strong passion for video games and a deep understanding of various game genres.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify subtle anomalies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate findings clearly.
- Basic proficiency with PC operating systems and general computer usage.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to testing.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Quality Assurance or game testing role, even in a volunteer capacity.
- Familiarity with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla).
- Experience with a variety of gaming platforms (PC, console, mobile).
- Knowledge of Blizzard Entertainment titles and universes.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new tools and processes.
