Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport patients safely and efficiently between departments (e.g., to and from operating rooms, radiology, admissions, discharge).
  • Assist nursing staff with patient repositioning, transfers, and ambulation, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Clean and maintain medical equipment and patient care areas, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
  • Deliver specimens, medications, and supplies to appropriate departments.
  • Respond to patient calls and requests in a timely and professional manner, escalating clinical issues to nursing staff.
  • Support the maintenance of a tidy and organized hospital environment.
  • Assist with setting up and dismantling equipment for various procedures.
  • Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Provide compassionate and respectful care to all patients and their families.
