Job Description
We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Hotel Porters to join our dynamic team across various Hilton locations within the UK, including our prestigious Southampton establishment. As a Hotel Porter, you will be the welcoming face of our hotel, playing a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a seamless and pleasant experience from the moment they arrive until their departure. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and possess a strong commitment to guest satisfaction. You will assist guests with luggage, provide information, and ensure the lobby and entrance areas are always presentable.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and assist with their luggage, safely transporting it to and from their rooms.
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
- Provide accurate information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel lobby, entrance, and other public areas.
- Manage incoming and outgoing parcels, mail, and deliveries for guests and the hotel.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of meeting rooms or event spaces as required.
- Ensure the safety and security of guest belongings and hotel property.
- Collaborate effectively with front desk, housekeeping, and other hotel departments.
- Operate and maintain hotel equipment such as luggage carts and trolleys.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Physical ability to lift and carry luggage.
