Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist lead technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning).
  • Learn to safely handle and transport tools, equipment, and materials to job sites.
  • Perform basic tasks such as cutting, drilling, measuring, and preparing work areas.
  • Follow blueprints and schematics under supervision to ensure correct system installation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including company vehicles and equipment.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance HVAC knowledge and skills.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks (e.g., climbing ladders, working in confined spaces).
  • Excellent work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
  • Basic understanding of hand and power tools.
  • Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in construction, general labor, or a related trade.
  • Completion of a vocational or technical program in HVAC or a related field (or currently enrolled).
  • EPA certification (Type I or Type II) or willingness to obtain.
