Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning).
- Learn to safely handle and transport tools, equipment, and materials to job sites.
- Perform basic tasks such as cutting, drilling, measuring, and preparing work areas.
- Follow blueprints and schematics under supervision to ensure correct system installation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including company vehicles and equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance HVAC knowledge and skills.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks (e.g., climbing ladders, working in confined spaces).
- Excellent work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Basic understanding of hand and power tools.
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction, general labor, or a related trade.
- Completion of a vocational or technical program in HVAC or a related field (or currently enrolled).
- EPA certification (Type I or Type II) or willingness to obtain.
