Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and reliable Laundry Attendant to join our dedicated team in Scottsdale, AZ. This is an on-site position focused on routine laundry operations within an industrial setting, ensuring all linens and uniforms meet our high standards of cleanliness and presentation. The ideal candidate will be meticulous, hardworking, and able to perform physical tasks efficiently. This role is crucial to our daily operations, directly impacting guest satisfaction and overall hotel presentation. Key Responsibilities
- Sort laundry by type, color, and degree of soil.
- Operate commercial washing and drying equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload laundry into machines, ensuring proper cycles and settings are selected.
- Fold, iron, and stack linens, towels, and uniforms according to established standards.
- Inspect items for stains or damage and report issues to supervisors.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, including equipment and floors.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment.
- Monitor laundry supplies and report needs for replenishment.
- Assist with inventory counts as required.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy laundry bags and carts (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Basic communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a laundry, housekeeping, or industrial setting.
