Job Description
We are seeking a talented and passionate Mobile App Developer with a focus on iOS and Android platforms, bringing a keen eye towards visual content discovery and integration, particularly inspired by platforms like Pinterest. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge mobile features that enhance user engagement and introduce innovative ways for our community to interact with visual content. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality, performant, and scalable mobile applications. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy high-quality mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to define, design, and ship new features that align with our strategic vision for visual discovery.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and architectural guidelines.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, and improve application performance.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile development trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge within the team.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Swift/Objective-C for iOS development and Kotlin/Java for Android development.
- Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and interface guidelines for both iOS and Android.
- Experience with mobile architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVP, MVI).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications to back-end services.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
- Demonstrated experience in shipping and maintaining consumer-facing mobile applications.
- Understanding of visual search, content curation, and discovery platforms (e.g., Pinterest-like functionality).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience integrating with third-party APIs related to visual content, such as Pinterest API.
- Knowledge of modern mobile development frameworks like SwiftUI and Jetpack Compose.
- Experience with performance optimization and scaling mobile applications.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
