Job Description

This vital role focuses on restoring clarity to vehicle headlights, significantly enhancing visibility, and promoting road safety for our customers. As a mobile specialist, you will travel to customer locations, providing convenient, high-quality headlight restoration services. Key Responsibilities
- Travel to customer locations to perform professional headlight restoration services.
- Inspect headlights to assess damage and determine the most effective restoration technique.
- Execute multi-step polishing and sealing processes with precision to restore headlight clarity.
- Maintain a high standard of quality, ensuring all restored headlights meet Pep Boys' safety and aesthetic guidelines.
- Provide clear explanations of the restoration process and benefits to customers.
- Handle all equipment and chemicals safely and efficiently.
- Manage scheduling and route planning for mobile appointments.
- Process payments and complete service reports accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work vehicle and equipment.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in automotive detailing or a related field (6 months minimum).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Basic knowledge of automotive care products and tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Certification in automotive detailing or paint correction.
- Experience with mobile service operations and scheduling software.
- Familiarity with various headlight restoration systems and techniques.
