Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Online Moderator Junior to join our Trust & Safety team. This crucial role is focused on ensuring a safe and positive online environment specifically for our community of 14-year-old teens. You will be responsible for reviewing user-generated content, interactions, and reports to uphold our community guidelines and protect our users. This is an entry-level position perfect for individuals passionate about online safety, with excellent judgment and a strong sense of responsibility. You will play a vital role in fostering a positive digital space where teens can learn, play, and connect safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively monitor user-generated content, including text, images, and videos, to ensure compliance with community guidelines and terms of service.
- Review and action user reports regarding inappropriate behavior or content swiftly and accurately.
- Educate users on safe online practices and community rules through direct communication and content moderation actions.
- Identify and escalate complex or sensitive issues to senior moderators or relevant internal teams.
- Maintain detailed records of moderation actions and observations.
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of moderation processes and tools.
- Stay informed about current online safety trends, especially those affecting teenagers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address safety concerns and implement preventative measures.
