Job Description
Are you a highly motivated and professional individual seeking a rewarding part-time role? Allied Universal is looking for dedicated Door Supervisors to join our elite team, ensuring safety and an exceptional experience at vibrant weekend venues in Visalia, CA. You will be the first point of contact for guests, playing a crucial role in maintaining order, enforcing policies, and providing a welcoming yet secure atmosphere. Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for patrons and staff at all times.
- Monitor entry and exit points, controlling access and conducting identification checks as per venue policies.
- Conduct bag checks and searches in accordance with legal guidelines and venue protocols.
- Handle conflicts, disturbances, and challenging situations professionally and effectively, utilizing de-escalation techniques.
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting patrons with inquiries, directions, and general information.
- Collaborate effectively with venue management, local law enforcement, and emergency services when necessary.
- Enforce venue rules and regulations, including age verification for entry and alcohol service.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to security alerts, incidents, and medical emergencies.
- Complete accurate and detailed incident reports as required.
Required Skills
- Valid California Guard Card (BSIS).
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to de-escalate situations calmly and effectively.
- Strong observational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical duties as required by the role.
- Legal right to work in the USA.
- Availability to work weekend shifts (evenings/nights) consistently.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a door supervisor, security, or customer service role within high-volume entertainment venues.
- Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
- Training in conflict resolution, physical intervention, or defensive tactics.
- Knowledge of local licensing laws and regulations pertaining to event security and alcohol service.
