Job Description
Allied Universal is seeking a vigilant and dedicated Part-time Gözetmen (Monitor) for weekend warehouse security in our Georgetown, Washington D.C. facility. As a Gözetmen, you will be responsible for observing and reporting, ensuring the safety and security of the premises, merchandise, and personnel during weekend hours. This role is ideal for individuals seeking consistent weekend employment with a leading security provider. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment through proactive monitoring and adherence to established security protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the warehouse interior and exterior to detect and prevent unauthorized activities.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems for suspicious activity.
- Control access points, verifying credentials for all individuals entering and exiting the facility.
- Respond promptly to alarms and security breaches, following established emergency procedures.
- Document and report all incidents, irregularities, and security breaches thoroughly and accurately.
- Enforce company security policies and procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Assist in emergency evacuations and other safety-related tasks as required.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Excellent observation and communication skills.
- Ability to operate security equipment and systems.
- Basic computer proficiency for report writing.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Strong ethical conduct and integrity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is a plus.
- Valid security guard license (if required by local regulations).
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics.
