Job Description
As a Pharmacy Supply Chain Associate at CVS Health, you will play a vital role in optimizing the flow of pharmaceutical products from manufacturers to our pharmacies and ultimately to our patients. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and executing replenishment orders to prevent stockouts and minimize overstock.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of pharmaceutical products.
- Support the analysis of supply chain data to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and supplier performance.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant pharmaceutical regulations and company policies.
- Participate in special projects aimed at enhancing supply chain efficiency and resilience.
- Communicate effectively with pharmacists, distribution centers, and other stakeholders regarding supply chain matters.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field, OR equivalent practical experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
- Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (internship or entry-level) in a supply chain, logistics, or pharmacy setting.
- Familiarity with inventory management software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Understanding of pharmaceutical regulations (e.g., FDA guidelines).
- Certifications in supply chain management (e.g., APICS CSCP, CPIM).
