Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, compassionate, and energetic Private Nanny to provide exceptional care for our two children (ages 3 and 6) in our Round Rock home. This full-time position requires a professional who is reliable, proactive, and genuinely enjoys working with children. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, stimulating, and educational environment, managing daily schedules, and supporting the children’s development through engaging activities. We require an immediate start to ensure a smooth transition and consistent care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide full-time care for two children, including meal preparation, hygiene, and age-appropriate activities.
  • Organize and supervise educational and recreational activities, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Manage children's daily schedules, including school pick-up/drop-off, nap times, and extracurriculars.
  • Assist with homework and school projects for the older child.
  • Maintain a clean and organized play area and children's rooms.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding children's progress, activities, and any concerns.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times.
  • Plan and execute fun outings to parks, museums, and other child-friendly locations.
  • Light household duties related to the children, such as children's laundry and tidying up after meals.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional nanny or childcare experience.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create engaging and educational activities.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Patience, warmth, and a genuine love for children.
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Experience with children of similar age ranges.
  • Knowledge of child development stages and appropriate learning techniques.
  • Ability to swim is a plus for water safety.
