Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Remote Apple Privacy Analyst with a strong focus on Information Security to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for ensuring that our clients’ operations align with Apple’s stringent privacy policies and information security best practices, especially concerning app development, data handling, and platform integration. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Apple’s ecosystem, privacy regulations, and information security frameworks. You will be responsible for conducting privacy impact assessments, advising on secure data practices within the Apple environment, and staying abreast of evolving privacy trends and regulations specific to Apple products and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive privacy impact assessments (PIAs) for client applications and services operating within the Apple ecosystem.
  • Advise clients on best practices for data collection, usage, storage, and sharing in compliance with Apple's privacy guidelines and relevant global regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Perform information security reviews specific to Apple platforms, identifying potential vulnerabilities and recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Develop and implement privacy and security controls tailored to Apple's operating systems and devices.
  • Monitor changes in Apple's privacy policies, security requirements, and industry standards, providing timely updates and strategic recommendations to clients.
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to embed 'privacy-by-design' and 'security-by-design' principles into new features and products.
  • Assist in responding to privacy-related inquiries, audits, and security incidents involving Apple data.
  • Create and deliver training and awareness programs on Apple privacy and information security for internal teams and client stakeholders.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience in data privacy, information security, or compliance roles, with a focus on Apple technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of Apple's privacy policies, app store guidelines, and security frameworks (e.g., App Tracking Transparency, Sign In with Apple).
  • Strong understanding of global data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, LGPD) and their applicability to mobile platforms.
  • Experience with privacy risk assessments and information security audits.
  • Proficiency in identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities related to mobile applications and cloud services.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client engagements in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Law, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as CIPP/US, CIPP/E, CIPT, CIPM, CISSP, or CISM.
  • Experience with enterprise mobility management (EMM) solutions and Apple device management.
  • Familiarity with secure coding practices for iOS/macOS development.
  • Previous consulting experience with a focus on technology or regulatory compliance.
