Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Shopify Plus Developer to join our dynamic team and lead the development of high-end e-commerce solutions for our diverse client portfolio. This role involves working on complex, custom Shopify Plus implementations, integrating with third-party APIs, and optimizing store performance to deliver exceptional user experiences and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Shopify Plus architecture, Liquid templating, front-end development, and a strong understanding of e-commerce best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of custom Shopify Plus themes and applications.
- Collaborate with clients, project managers, and design teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Integrate third-party applications and APIs (e.g., ERPs, CRMs, payment gateways, shipping providers) with Shopify Plus stores.
- Optimize Shopify Plus store performance, ensuring speed, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for technical specifications and processes.
- Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship to junior developers, and ensure adherence to best coding standards.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging Shopify features, industry trends, and development tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Shopify Plus platforms.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of professional experience with Shopify Plus development.
- Expert-level proficiency in Liquid templating language.
- Strong front-end development skills (HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, JavaScript ES6+, React/Vue experience a plus).
- Deep understanding of Shopify's API (Storefront API, Admin API).
- Experience with Git and version control workflows.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with headless commerce implementations using Shopify.
- Familiarity with build tools like Webpack or Gulp.
- Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG) and SEO best practices.
- Shopify Partner certification.
