Job Description
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Warehouse Equipment Operators. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to gain multi-machine operational experience. We provide comprehensive training on various warehouse equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and pallet jacks. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of products within our state-of-the-art Kennewick Fulfillment Center, contributing directly to our mission of delighting customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate various types of warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, pallet jacks) safely and efficiently after training.
- Load, unload, pick, and move products according to established procedures.
- Perform daily safety checks on equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity and quality goals.
- Accurately scan and document product movements using warehouse management systems.
- Support inventory control processes, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and quality.
Required Skills
- Ability to comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, physical environment.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and data entry.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to and from the work site.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment (even without equipment operation).
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
