Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Warehouse Inventory Clerk to join our team in Wesley Chapel, Florida. This role is crucial for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our inventory data. You will primarily focus on digital data entry, system updates, and meticulous physical counts, ensuring that all inventory records are precise. This position emphasizes a strong focus on data accuracy and process adherence, with no direct phone-based customer or vendor interaction required. Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate digital data entry of inventory movements, receipts, and shipments into the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts (cycle counts) and full inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
- Generate and review inventory reports, ensuring data integrity and identifying potential issues.
- Work closely with warehouse operations teams to ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of goods.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies within the warehouse environment.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining a clean and efficient inventory area.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience with data entry and basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 50 lbs), and bend for extended periods.
- Proficiency in English for reading, writing, and verbal communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or inventory control role.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or inventory software.
- Experience with inventory reconciliation and discrepancy resolution.
- Associate's degree or certification in supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
