Job Description

Join the vibrant team at American Bank Center as a Weekend Event Usher! As an Usher, you will be the face of our venue, ensuring guests have a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience. We’re looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals who are available to work weekends and select evenings for various events. This role is perfect for students, retirees, or anyone looking for flexible part-time work in an exciting environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and direct them to their seats.
  • Scan tickets and verify entry credentials efficiently.
  • Provide information about venue facilities, exits, restrooms, and concessions.
  • Enforce venue policies and procedures to ensure guest safety and comfort.
  • Monitor assigned sections for any issues, disturbances, or safety hazards.
  • Assist guests with special needs or accessibility requirements.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve minor complaints with professionalism.
  • Work collaboratively with security, concessions, and other event staff.
  • Be prepared to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service, hospitality, or event-based role.
  • Familiarity with the American Bank Center layout and local attractions.
  • Ability to speak Spanish a plus.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
