Key Responsibilities
- Process passenger check-ins efficiently, including verifying identification, issuing boarding passes, and assigning seats.
- Handle ticketing, re-bookings, and special service requests with accuracy and a friendly demeanor.
- Assist passengers with baggage check-in, ensuring adherence to weight and size restrictions.
- Provide clear and concise information regarding flight schedules, gate changes, and airport services.
- Resolve passenger issues and complaints professionally and empathetically, escalating when necessary.
- Operate airport equipment such as ticket counters, baggage scales, and computer systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at the ticket counter and gate.
- Collaborate with fellow team members and other airport personnel to ensure seamless operations.
- Adhere to all safety, security, and company policies and procedures.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and point-of-sale systems.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a calm demeanor under pressure.
- Capability to lift and move luggage up to 50 lbs.
