Job Description
Join our team as a Wholesale Order Selector, where you will play a crucial role in our distribution process. Using state-of-the-art voice picking technology, you will accurately and efficiently select products for our stores, ensuring they reach our shelves on time. This is a fast-paced environment that rewards precision, reliability, and hard work with weekly performance bonuses. Full training on our voice pick system and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking an entry-level role with clear pathways for career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a voice picking system to accurately select and pick products from warehouse locations.
- Load and unload products onto pallets, trolleys, or other designated equipment.
- Ensure selected products are correctly counted, labelled, and prepared for dispatch.
- Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as Low-Level Order Pickers (LLOPs) or Pallet Trucks safely and efficiently (training provided).
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Meet daily performance targets for accuracy and productivity.
- Report any discrepancies or damaged products to supervisors.
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve departmental goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Physical ability to lift, push, and pull items weighing up to 20kg repeatedly throughout a shift.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow verbal instructions accurately (for voice pick system).
- Team player with a positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or order picking role.
- Experience with voice picking systems.
- Valid MHE license (e.g., LLOP, PPT) is a plus, but not essential as training is provided.
