Job Description
We are seeking reliable and physically fit individuals to join our team as Fruit Crate Handlers. This vital role involves the efficient loading and unloading of fruit crates, ensuring produce is handled with care and organized for timely distribution. You will be an integral part of our logistics operation, contributing directly to our commitment to delivering fresh food to our customers. This position offers the convenience of daily payouts.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently load and unload fruit crates from delivery vehicles and into storage areas.
- Organize and stack crates according to specified procedures and safety guidelines.
- Verify quantities and types of fruit crates against delivery manifests.
- Operate manual handling equipment safely and responsibly (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy crates repeatedly.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
