Job Description
We are seeking observant and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as a Delivery Courier Mystery Shopper. In this unique role, you will be responsible for anonymously evaluating the speed, efficiency, and quality of our delivery services in the Uptown Oakland area. Your objective feedback will be crucial in helping DoorDash maintain its high standards and continuously improve the customer experience. This role involves placing actual orders, interacting with couriers, and documenting your observations through a structured reporting system.
Key Responsibilities
- Place delivery orders through the DoorDash platform at various times and from different merchants as directed.
- Anonymously assess the speed of delivery from order placement to arrival.
- Evaluate courier professionalism, adherence to delivery instructions, and overall service quality.
- Inspect the condition of delivered items and packaging.
- Provide detailed, objective, and timely feedback using our standardized survey forms and reporting tools.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding the mystery shopper assignments and findings.
- Adhere to a schedule of assigned mystery shop activities within the designated geographic area.
- Communicate any significant service deviations or exceptional experiences promptly.
Required Skills
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written communication skills for comprehensive reporting.
- Ability to follow instructions precisely and adhere to strict guidelines.
- Reliable internet access and a smartphone with the DoorDash app installed.
- Basic computer literacy for data entry and report submission.
- Ability to maintain anonymity and impartiality during evaluations.
- Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the US.
- Residency in or easy access to the Uptown Oakland area.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, quality assurance, or mystery shopping roles.
- Familiarity with food delivery platforms and services.
