Job Description
Are you a customer service enthusiast with a knack for financial transactions? Truist is seeking a dynamic Part-Time Float Teller to provide exceptional service across various branch locations within the Pasco County area, specifically focusing on New Port Richey and surrounding communities. As a Float Teller, you will have the unique opportunity to support different teams, learn diverse branch operations, and contribute to a wide range of client experiences. Key Responsibilities
- Process routine financial transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing with accuracy and efficiency.
- Identify client needs and recommend appropriate Truist products and services, such as new accounts, loans, and digital banking solutions.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and adherence to bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide excellent customer service, resolving inquiries and concerns professionally and promptly.
- Actively participate in branch sales goals and initiatives.
- Reconcile cash drawers and balance daily transactions accurately.
- Float between various Truist branch locations within the assigned geographic area as needed.
- Adhere to operational controls, including managing risk and fraud prevention.
- Assist clients with ATM and digital banking self-service options.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 6 months experience in cash handling and customer service.
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and office software.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel to multiple branch locations within Pasco County.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Teller or in a financial services environment.
- Associate's degree or some college coursework.
- Bilingual skills (e.g., Spanish, as applicable to local market needs).
