Job Description

ServiceMaster Restore in Sherbrooke is seeking dedicated and empathetic individuals to join our team as Crime Scene / Trauma Cleanup Technicians (Trainee). This entry-level position offers comprehensive, paid training to equip you with the skills and certifications required to safely and effectively manage and remediate scenes involving biohazardous materials, crime scenes, and other sensitive situations. Key Responsibilities
- Undergo comprehensive training in biohazard remediation, bloodborne pathogens, infectious disease control, and safe handling of contaminated materials.
- Respond to and assess trauma and crime scenes, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed.
- Execute cleanup, decontamination, and disposal procedures according to industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Safely operate and maintain specialized cleaning equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Document job sites, procedures, and materials used with meticulous attention to detail.
- Interact with clients, emergency services, and other stakeholders with empathy, respect, and discretion.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices.
Required Skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to handle physically demanding tasks.

- Ability to work effectively in challenging and emotionally sensitive environments.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a labor-intensive role (e.g., construction, general labor, emergency services).
- Certification in First Aid and CPR.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Flexibility to work on-call and respond to emergency situations outside of regular business hours.
