Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Magazine Sorters to join our team in Cardiff. This indoor, part-time role is ideal for students looking for flexible hours and an opportunity to gain valuable work experience. You will be responsible for accurately sorting, organizing, and preparing magazines for display and distribution, ensuring our shelves are always well-stocked and tidy. This is a crucial role in maintaining our store’s presentation and efficiency, contributing to a positive shopping experience for our customers. No prior experience is necessary, as full training will be provided. We value a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately sort incoming magazine deliveries according to store layout and planograms.
- Organize magazines on shelves and display units, ensuring neatness and proper rotation.
- Assist with stock counts and inventory checks for magazine categories.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area within the stockroom and sales floor.
- Report any discrepancies or damaged stock to a supervisor.
- Adhere to all company policies and health and safety guidelines.
Required Skills

- Ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
- Capable of light physical activity, including standing, bending, and lifting small bundles of magazines.

- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Previous experience in a retail or stock-handling environment is a plus, but not essential.
