Job Description

Are you a skilled communicator with a knack for empathy and problem-solving? Shopify is seeking a dedicated Remote Email Support Agent to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to provide exceptional customer service through 100% text-based communication – no phone calls required! You will be responsible for resolving merchant inquiries, providing guidance on platform features, and ensuring a positive experience for our global user base, all from the comfort of your home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to merchant inquiries promptly and accurately via email and chat, focusing on detailed and helpful text-based communication.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues related to the Shopify platform, apps, and integrations.
  • Guide merchants through various features, settings, and best practices to optimize their online stores.
  • Document interactions and solutions thoroughly within our CRM system.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to escalate complex issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and contribute to a positive brand image.
  • Stay up-to-date with new product features, updates, and support policies.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional written communication skills in English, with a strong emphasis on clarity, grammar, and tone.
