Job Description
Are you an organised, reliable individual with a passion for creating sparkling clean homes? Merry Maids of Peterborough is seeking dedicated Domestic Cleaners to join our growing team. We provide all the necessary training, equipment, and cleaning supplies, ensuring you have everything you need to succeed. Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of cleaning tasks including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising according to Merry Maids' high standards.
- Manage your own assigned client schedule efficiently and reliably.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their cleaning needs and any special requests.
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to the client's satisfaction.
- Handle cleaning products and equipment safely and responsibly.
- Maintain a professional and friendly demeanour at all times.
- Report any maintenance issues or unusual circumstances observed in client homes.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and a thorough approach to cleaning.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage a schedule.
- Basic communication skills to interact with clients.
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties (bending, lifting, standing for extended periods).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in domestic or commercial cleaning.
- A full UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle.
