Job Description
Join the Netflix content team as a Review Associate, where your passion for film and television will directly contribute to the quality and success of our streaming library. This role involves meticulously watching and evaluating a wide array of movies and series, providing critical feedback on content quality, metadata accuracy, and overall viewer experience. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our global audience receives the highest standard of entertainment. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a deep appreciation for diverse storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Watch and analyze a high volume of movies and series across various genres and languages.
- Provide detailed, constructive feedback on content quality, narrative coherence, and technical execution.
- Assess and verify metadata accuracy, including synopses, genre classifications, cast/crew information, and parental guidance ratings.
- Identify and report any issues related to content presentation, localization, or cultural sensitivity.
- Collaborate with content acquisition, editorial, and localization teams to ensure alignment with Netflix standards.
- Contribute to the ongoing refinement of our content review guidelines and best practices.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding upcoming content and internal processes.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Film Studies, Communications, English, or a related field, OR equivalent practical experience.
- Demonstrated passion for film and television, with a broad knowledge of various genres and international content.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with standard office software (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in content review, quality assurance, or media analysis roles.
- Familiarity with Netflix's content library and user experience.
- Proficiency in additional languages relevant to international content (e.g., Spanish, French, Korean, Japanese).
- Understanding of media production workflows and post-production processes.
