Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and diligent Night Porter to join our friendly team on a part-time basis. This role is perfect for someone looking for stable evening work two nights a week to earn some extra cash. As a Night Porter, you will be crucial to ensuring the safety and comfort of our guests during the quiet hours, providing a welcoming presence and handling any late-night needs. While previous experience is a plus, a strong work ethic and a desire to learn are most important.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular security checks and patrols of the hotel premises.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
- Assist with late check-ins and early check-outs.
- Handle minor administrative tasks and prepare for the morning shift.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in public areas during the night.
- Monitor CCTV systems and report any unusual activity.
- Set up meeting rooms or dining areas as required for the following day.
- Be the first point of contact for any emergencies, following established procedures.
Required Skills
- Reliability and punctuality for night shifts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Basic computer literacy.
- Eligibility to work night shifts in the UK.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Basic first aid training.
