Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable Plasterer Offsider to join our dynamic team in Calgary. This is a full-time, fast-paced role, working Monday to Friday, perfect for individuals who are eager to learn, contribute, and grow within the construction industry. As an Offsider, you will provide essential support to our experienced plasterers, ensuring projects run smoothly and efficiently. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop valuable skills in plastering and general construction trades.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist plasterers with mixing plaster, rendering compounds, and other materials.
- Prepare work areas, including setting up scaffolding, covering surfaces, and cleaning up debris.
- Transport tools, equipment, and materials to and from work sites.
- Help with the application of plaster, ensuring surfaces are clean and ready for work.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Perform general labouring duties as required to support the construction team.
- Follow instructions from lead plasterers and site supervisors accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure all tools and equipment are properly cleaned, maintained, and stored at the end of each day.

- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy materials.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.

- Basic understanding of construction site safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience on a construction site or in a labouring role (even if minimal).
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Basic knowledge of plastering materials and techniques.
- First Aid/CPR certification.
