Job Description

We are seeking an innovative and data-driven Pinterest Funnel Architect to join our dynamic marketing technology team. This is a technical marketing role focused on designing, implementing, and optimizing end-to-end customer acquisition and retention funnels specifically on the Pinterest platform. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of Pinterest’s advertising ecosystem, technical tracking mechanisms, audience segmentation, and A/B testing methodologies. You will be instrumental in driving measurable business outcomes by architecting sophisticated Pinterest campaigns, ensuring robust data integrity, and translating performance insights into actionable strategies. This is a crucial role for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, remote-first environment and is passionate about leveraging social platforms for e-commerce growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize Pinterest advertising funnels, from initial awareness to conversion and retention, focusing on technical implementation and performance.
  • Implement and manage Pinterest Tag, Enhanced Match, Conversions API, and other tracking technologies to ensure accurate data capture and attribution.
  • Perform deep-dive analysis into campaign performance, user behavior on Pinterest, and funnel drop-off points, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and data science teams to align Pinterest strategies with overarching business objectives and integrate with other marketing channels.
  • Develop and execute A/B tests, multivariate tests, and other experimentation frameworks to continuously improve funnel performance and ROI.
  • Manage audience segmentation, custom audiences, lookalike audiences, and retargeting strategies within Pinterest Ads Manager.
  • Stay abreast of Pinterest's evolving features, advertising products, and best practices, proactively identifying opportunities for innovation.
  • Create detailed reports and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., CCPA, GDPR) in all Pinterest tracking and data handling practices.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in technical marketing, growth marketing, or performance marketing with a strong focus on social media advertising.
  • Proven expertise in designing and managing complex advertising funnels on Pinterest.
  • Deep technical understanding of Pinterest Tag, Conversions API, and server-side tracking implementation.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau, Looker, SQL).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience with other social media advertising platforms (e.g., Facebook/Instagram Ads, TikTok Ads) with a focus on technical implementation.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and CRM systems.
  • Experience in the retail or e-commerce industry.
  • Certification in Pinterest advertising or related digital marketing fields.
