Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Livery Driver with an exceptional knowledge of Huntsville and surrounding areas to join our esteemed team. The ideal candidate will provide safe, reliable, and comfortable transportation services for our hotel guests, VIPs, and corporate clients. This role demands excellent customer service, a pristine driving record, and a commitment to punctuality and discretion. Your expertise in local routes, traffic patterns, and points of interest will be crucial in ensuring a seamless and elevated travel experience for our clientele.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport guests to their desired destinations, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Maintain a detailed and up-to-date knowledge of Huntsville's geography, including key business districts, attractions, airports, and major routes.
- Assist guests with luggage and provide courteous and professional interaction at all times.
- Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and fueled at the start and end of each shift.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and operational readiness.
- Proactively plan routes, considering traffic conditions and guest preferences, to ensure timely arrivals.
- Handle guest inquiries and special requests with professionalism and discretion.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and service times.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no major violations in the past 5 years)
- Extensive knowledge of Huntsville, Alabama, and surrounding areas
- Proven experience in professional driving or chauffeur services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong commitment to customer service and guest satisfaction
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Professional appearance and demeanor
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a livery driver or chauffeur in a luxury hospitality setting
- Certification in defensive driving or advanced driving techniques
- Familiarity with luxury vehicle operation and maintenance
- Multilingual abilities are a plus
