Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Python Developer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting our data analytics initiatives, with a specific focus on data related to Apple’s ecosystem. You will work on developing and maintaining Python-based scripts and applications for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL), contributing to robust data pipelines that power our insights. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy Python scripts and applications for data processing and automation.
  • Assist in building and maintaining ETL pipelines for Apple-related data sources (e.g., App Store data, device usage analytics, etc.).
  • Collaborate with senior developers and data scientists to understand data requirements and implement solutions.
  • Write clear, concise, and well-documented code.
  • Perform data quality checks and troubleshoot data-related issues.
  • Contribute to code reviews and adhere to best practices in software development.
  • Monitor and optimize data processing jobs for performance and reliability.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Python programming language
  • Basic understanding of data structures and algorithms
  • Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Knowledge of data warehousing concepts
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools
