Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Python Developer to join our remote team. In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting our data analytics initiatives, with a specific focus on data related to Apple’s ecosystem. You will work on developing and maintaining Python-based scripts and applications for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL), contributing to robust data pipelines that power our insights. Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy Python scripts and applications for data processing and automation.
- Assist in building and maintaining ETL pipelines for Apple-related data sources (e.g., App Store data, device usage analytics, etc.).
- Collaborate with senior developers and data scientists to understand data requirements and implement solutions.
- Write clear, concise, and well-documented code.
- Perform data quality checks and troubleshoot data-related issues.
- Contribute to code reviews and adhere to best practices in software development.
- Monitor and optimize data processing jobs for performance and reliability.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Python programming language
- Basic understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts
- Familiarity with data visualization tools
- Previous exposure to Apple's developer tools or data APIs
- Experience with data processing frameworks (e.g., Pandas, Dask)
