Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team as Distribution Centre Order Pickers at our state-of-the-art facility in Ellesmere Port. This is an entry-level position where no prior experience is required, as full, comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you become proficient in all aspects of the role. You will play a crucial part in our supply chain, accurately picking and preparing customer orders for dispatch, ensuring products reach their destinations efficiently and on time. Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick and pack customer orders from designated storage locations.
  • Operate pallet trucks, pump trucks, or other MHE as trained and certified (training provided).
  • Ensure products are handled with care to prevent damage.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment as required.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity targets.
  • Report any discrepancies or issues to your supervisor promptly.

Required Skills

  • Ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to lift and move packages up to 20kg.
  • Reliability and excellent timekeeping.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (not essential, but a plus).
  • Familiarity with inventory management systems.
  • Experience operating manual handling equipment.
