Job Description
We are seeking a highly professional and experienced Fleet Chauffeur to join our dedicated team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing safe, timely, and comfortable transportation for Kaiser Permanente’s executives, board members, and special guests using our fleet of modern, meticulously maintained 2024 vehicles. Key Responsibilities
- Operate assigned vehicles in a safe, efficient, and courteous manner.
- Transport executives, board members, and VIP guests to and from various destinations, including airports, meetings, and events.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion regarding passengers and their itineraries.
- Conduct daily pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and cleanliness.
- Coordinate with dispatch and administrative staff to manage schedules and adjust routes as necessary.
- Ensure vehicles are fueled, cleaned, and properly maintained, scheduling routine service appointments.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Assist passengers with luggage and other personal items as needed.
- Provide a comfortable and professional environment for all passengers.
Required Skills
- Valid California Class C driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional chauffeuring experience or equivalent high-end driving experience.
- Excellent knowledge of Southern California roadways, traffic patterns, and navigation tools.
- Strong understanding of vehicle safety and maintenance procedures.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience driving luxury or executive vehicles.
- Certification in defensive driving or advanced driving techniques.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
