Job Description

No prior license or experience is required – we provide comprehensive, paid training to ensure your success! This is an immediate start opportunity for those eager to learn and contribute to a vital healthcare team. As a Patient Care Aide, you will provide essential support to patients and nursing staff, playing a crucial role in patient comfort and recovery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
  • Help patients with mobility, transferring, and ambulation, utilizing proper body mechanics.
  • Monitor and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) accurately.
  • Document patient observations, care provided, and any changes in condition.
  • Assist nurses with medical procedures, as directed and within scope of training.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe patient environment.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
  • Respond to patient call lights promptly and courteously.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Strong desire to help others and a compassionate attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and assist patients as required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a customer service role.
  • Basic computer literacy for documentation.
  • Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
