Job Description
As an Inventory Hand at Target’s Greeley distribution center, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and organization of our merchandise. This position involves receiving, stocking, and preparing products for distribution to our retail stores, contributing directly to our operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately receive, unload, and process incoming merchandise.
- Stock shelves, racks, and bins in designated storage areas.
- Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and labeling products.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks or forklifts (training provided if necessary).
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Basic math and literacy skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, retail, or inventory management role.
- Experience operating pallet jacks or forklifts.
- High school diploma or GED.
