Job Description

No prior experience is required! We are committed to investing in our associates’ success, which is why we offer funded forklift licence training for all eligible candidates. This is a full-time, on-site position where you will learn the essential skills to safely and efficiently operate forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Key Responsibilities
- Participate actively in all required forklift safety and operation training programs, leading to full certification.
- Under supervision, learn to safely operate various types of forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to move, stack, and retrieve materials and products.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper handling and placement of goods.
- Learn to perform pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any maintenance issues.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, maintaining a safe working environment.
- Support inventory management by correctly scanning and locating products within the warehouse.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals and maintain workflow efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in work areas and around equipment.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Willingness to learn and commit to obtaining forklift certification (company-funded).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing physical tasks associated with warehouse work (e.g., standing, walking, bending, reaching for extended periods).
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or general labor role (non-forklift related).
- Basic computer literacy.
- Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
