Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and efficient Pharmacy Order Filler to join our fast-paced warehouse team in Chula Vista. This role is crucial for ensuring the accurate and timely distribution of pharmaceutical products. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-volume environment, possesses strong attention to detail, and is committed to maintaining safety and quality standards. This position involves physical work, handling pharmaceutical products, and requires no direct phone interaction with customers or patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack, and label pharmaceutical orders according to prescribed procedures and safety guidelines.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) safely and efficiently after training.
- Verify product counts, lot numbers, and expiration dates to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company and regulatory standards.
- Replenish stock on shelves and report any discrepancies or damaged products.
- Participate in inventory counts and help resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily productivity and accuracy goals.
- Adhere to all HIPAA and pharmaceutical handling regulations.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 50 lbs), and bend for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for order processing and inventory lookup.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented warehouse environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing setting, preferably in pharmaceuticals or healthcare.
- Experience operating material handling equipment.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
