Job Description
We are seeking a highly professional and discreet Executive Transport Specialist to provide safe, reliable, and efficient transportation for our senior executives and VIP guests. This critical role requires exceptional driving skills, a strong commitment to punctuality, confidentiality, and an unwavering focus on safety and comfort. The successful candidate will ensure seamless travel experiences, representing Biogen with the utmost professionalism at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport senior executives, board members, and VIP guests to various destinations, including airports, meetings, and corporate events.
- Maintain the assigned vehicle in pristine condition, ensuring cleanliness, maintenance schedules, and readiness for all trips.
- Plan optimal routes considering traffic, weather, and client preferences to ensure punctuality.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols.
- Manage schedules and itineraries, adapting to last-minute changes with flexibility and professionalism.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding all executive movements, discussions, and personal information.
- Assist with luggage and other personal belongings as needed, ensuring a comfortable and seamless experience.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and operational readiness.
- Provide exceptional customer service, anticipating needs and ensuring a high level of comfort and satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of professional chauffeur or executive driving experience.
- Impeccable driving record with no accidents or violations.
- Valid driver's license with appropriate endorsements (e.g., chauffeur's license where required).
- Excellent knowledge of local geography (Cambridge, Greater Boston area, and surrounding regions).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and discreet demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Proficiency with navigation systems and traffic monitoring apps.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, confidentiality, and punctuality.
- Physical ability to assist with luggage and ingress/egress from vehicles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced defensive driving or security driving certifications.
- Experience with armored or specialty vehicles.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Fluency in multiple languages.
- Prior experience transporting high-profile individuals in a corporate setting.
- Familiarity with luxury vehicle maintenance and operation.
