Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily detailing operations, ensuring all vehicles are prepared to AutoNation's premium standards.
- Train, mentor, and guide junior detailers on best practices, product usage, and efficiency.
- Perform high-quality interior and exterior detailing, including washing, waxing, polishing, vacuuming, and shampooing.
- Conduct quality control checks on completed vehicles to ensure meticulous attention to detail.
- Manage inventory of detailing supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper usage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Collaborate with service and sales departments to prioritize vehicle detailing schedules.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients about their vehicle's detailing needs.
- Actively participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of professional automotive detailing experience.
- Demonstrated potential for leadership and team supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Proficiency with various detailing tools, products, and techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a lead or supervisory role within an automotive setting.
- Knowledge of paint correction techniques and ceramic coating application.
- Certification from a recognized detailing program or organization.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
