Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Apple Media Planner to join our dynamic team. This is a crucial role focused on developing, executing, and optimizing media plans specifically for our key Apple client, with a high-energy approach to advertising. You will be instrumental in identifying target audiences, selecting appropriate media channels, and ensuring maximum ROI for campaigns. This position requires a strategic thinker with a passion for the evolving media landscape and a keen understanding of the tech industry’s unique advertising needs. As a remote role, you will be empowered to manage your work independently while collaborating closely with a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive media plans for the Apple client, aligning with marketing objectives and budget parameters.
- Conduct in-depth market research and audience analysis to identify optimal media channels and placements.
- Negotiate and purchase media space across various platforms, including digital, broadcast, print, and out-of-home.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and provide actionable insights for optimization and future strategy.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with creative teams, analytics specialists, and client services to ensure integrated campaign execution.
- Manage media budgets, timelines, and vendor relationships effectively.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive activities in the media and tech sectors.
- Prepare and present media plans, reports, and post-campaign analyses to clients and internal stakeholders.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in media planning, preferably with a focus on tech or consumer electronics clients.
- Proven ability to develop and execute integrated media strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in media research tools (e.g., Nielsen, Comscore, Google Analytics).
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and presentation creation.
- High level of organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience with programmatic advertising and advanced digital media buying platforms.
- Familiarity with the Apple ecosystem and brand guidelines.
- Prior experience working in a large advertising agency.
- Certifications in Google Ads, Meta Blueprint, or similar platforms.
