Job Description
We are seeking a highly creative and strategic Pinterest Content Creator to join our remote marketing team. This role is crucial for enhancing our visual presence on Pinterest, driving engagement, and attracting new customers through compelling photography and video content. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, creating, and optimizing a wide range of Pins, including Idea Pins, Standard Pins, and Video Pins, that resonate with our target audience and align with our brand aesthetic. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the US.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive Pinterest content strategy focused on high-quality photography and engaging video.
- Conceptualize, shoot, and edit original photography and video content optimized for Pinterest.
- Curate and repurpose existing brand assets into visually appealing Pinterest content.
- Write compelling Pin titles and descriptions with relevant keywords to maximize discoverability.
- Monitor Pinterest trends, analytics, and competitor activity to identify opportunities and inform content creation.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to ensure brand consistency and campaign alignment.
- Manage a content calendar, ensuring timely delivery and scheduling of Pins.
- Experiment with new Pinterest features and content formats to innovate our presence on the platform.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in content creation, specifically for Pinterest.
- Strong portfolio showcasing photography and video editing skills.
- Proficiency with professional camera equipment and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
- Expertise in graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Canva) for Pin creation.
- Deep understanding of Pinterest algorithms, best practices, and trends.
- Excellent visual storytelling and creative thinking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, remote environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Photography, Film, or a related field.
- Experience with other social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok).
- Familiarity with e-commerce and home goods industry trends.
