Job Description

Are you passionate about sports video games and have a keen eye for detail? Electronic Arts is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated EA Sports QA Aide to join our quality assurance team in Sandy, Utah. Key Responsibilities

  • Execute detailed test plans and test cases across various EA Sports titles on multiple platforms.
  • Accurately identify, document, and report software defects (bugs) using our internal tracking tools.
  • Verify bug fixes and regressions to ensure issues are resolved correctly without introducing new problems.
  • Provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback on gameplay, features, and overall user experience.
  • Collaborate effectively with QA Leads, Producers, and Developers to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Adhere to established testing protocols, schedules, and quality assurance processes.
  • Participate in daily team meetings and contribute to a positive and productive team environment.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Strong passion for video games, especially sports titles (e.g., FIFA, Madden NFL, NHL).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies or errors.
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with console gaming platforms.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving aptitude.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with different game genres and basic understanding of game development cycles.
  • Experience using bug tracking software (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla) in a personal capacity.
  • Previous experience with game modding or community testing.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new tools and technologies.
