Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Work From Home (WFH) Secretary to join our FedEx Ground team. This is a unique opportunity for an individual who excels in administrative tasks, data management, and document processing without the need for phone interactions. The primary focus of this role will be on supporting various departments through digital administrative support, ensuring smooth operations and efficient information flow. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility while maintaining high standards of productivity and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform extensive data entry into various company systems and databases with a high degree of accuracy and speed.
- Manage and organize digital documents, files, and records, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance with company policies.
- Prepare, proofread, and format reports, presentations, and correspondence using various software applications.
- Assist with scheduling and coordination of virtual meetings, managing invitations and distributing relevant materials.
- Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documentation as required.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and handle all tasks with discretion.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and managers through digital communication channels (email, chat, project management tools).
- Support special projects and administrative tasks as assigned, adapting to evolving priorities.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
- Excellent written communication and grammar skills.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a remote setting.
- High level of data entry accuracy and speed.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated home office space.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in a remote administrative or secretarial role.
- Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Asana, Trello).
- Experience with document management systems.
- Typing speed of 60 WPM or higher.
