Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Leather Goods Rivet Setter to join our skilled production team in Flagstaff. In this seated, detail-oriented role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently setting rivets into various leather products using a hand press. This position requires excellent manual dexterity, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to maintain consistent quality standards. You will contribute directly to the creation of premium leather accessories, ensuring each item meets our high standards of durability and finish.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a hand press machine to accurately set rivets into pre-punched holes in leather goods.
- Inspect leather components and finished products for defects or inconsistencies before and after riveting.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
- Follow precise instructions and quality guidelines for each product line and design.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production targets.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures within the workshop environment.
- Perform routine maintenance on the hand press as required, or report issues to supervision.
Required Skills
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Strong attention to detail and precision.
- Ability to work comfortably in a seated position for extended periods.
