Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Barber Shop Host to join our dynamic team in Charlotte, NC. This essential role is the first point of contact for our clients, setting the tone for their entire experience. You will be responsible for warmly greeting guests, managing appointments, maintaining the front desk area, and ensuring a smooth flow of operations. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet all clients upon arrival and manage check-ins.
- Efficiently handle incoming phone calls, answer inquiries, and schedule appointments using our booking system.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area, waiting lounge, and retail display.
- Process client payments accurately and manage the cash register.
- Assist barbers and stylists with client flow and prepare stations as needed.
- Provide clients with information about our services, products, and promotions.
- Ensure client comfort and satisfaction throughout their visit.
- Resolve minor client issues and escalate complex situations to management.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in a customer service role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and willingness to learn scheduling software.
