Job Description
Are you 16 years old and looking for your first job experience in a dynamic retail environment? Target in Henderson, Nevada, is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Teen Stockists to help keep our large format store organized and well-stocked. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable work experience, develop essential retail skills, and become part of a welcoming team. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently unload merchandise from delivery trucks and move it to the sales floor or storage areas.
- Stock shelves, racks, and displays with new products, ensuring they are neatly organized and accessible.
- Rotate merchandise, check for expired items (where applicable), and ensure products are properly faced.
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records.
- Keep the sales floor and backroom clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jacks or carts safely (with appropriate training and age restrictions).
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Provide basic assistance to customers by directing them to products or store areas when needed.
Required Skills
- Must be 16 years of age at the time of application.
- Ability to lift and carry merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs regularly.
- Strong work ethic and a desire to learn new tasks.
- Reliable and punctual with a good attendance record.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Attention to detail and organizational abilities.
