Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Bank Teller to join our team in Irvine, CA. As a Bank Teller, you will be the face of Wells Fargo, providing exceptional service to our customers by handling their daily banking needs, processing transactions accurately, and identifying opportunities to introduce them to products and services that help them achieve their financial goals. Key Responsibilities
- Process a high volume of customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and cashing checks.
- Maintain a balanced cash drawer and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate bank products and services, such as new accounts, loans, or credit cards.
- Educate customers on the use of self-service options like ATMs and online banking.
- Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing friendly, professional, and personalized service.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures of the branch as needed.
Required Skills
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in cash handling and transaction processing.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software applications.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/carry coin bags weighing up to 25 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in cash handling or a customer-facing role.
- Bilingual proficiency (especially Spanish, Mandarin, or Korean) is a plus.
- Knowledge of banking products and services.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
